Merging videos used to be a tricky task. You’d have to use professional video editing software which tends to be either expensive, difficult to learn, or both. Nowadays, however, things are much easier.
Thanks to tools like Flixier, you can merge videos online, without having to leave your web browser or install anything to your computer. These tools are fast and easy to use. With Flixier, you don’t even have to create an account in order to use it. You can just click on Get Started and the tool will start right up and allow you to combine videos, edit them and then save them to your computer and publish them online.
An online app to combine videos like Flixier is also made more convenient by the fact that you don’t really need to worry about compatibility issues. The video merger software will run perfectly fine on any modern operating system. That means you can use it whether you’re on Mac, Windows, Linux or ChromeOS. On top of that, Flixier is compatible with pretty much any video format you can throw at it, so you don’t have to worry about converting your files before merging them.
Enough introduction, though. Let’s see exactly what you need to do in order to merge videos online for free using Flixier:
Step 1: Open Flixier and upload your videos
The first step you need to take is obviously to open Flixier. To do that, just type the name into Google, go to their website and click the big blue Get Started button in the top right corner of the screen.
Flixier will start right up. You don’t need to register an account in order to use it. Then, you’ll be prompted to upload your videos to Flixier. You can either drag them over from your computer, or you can choose any of the multiple cloud import options available to bring your videos over from various cloud storage services like Google Photos, Dropbox, OneDrive and others.
If you want to combine online videos from YouTube or TikTok, you can click the Link option and paste in the links to your videos to bring them over to your Flixier library directly, without having to save them to your computer beforehand.
Step 2: Combine videos online
Once the videos show up in your Flixier library, it’s time to combine them. To do that, just double click on them in the library or drag them down to the timeline. You can add as many videos as you want to the timeline and arrange them in any order that you want.
You can cut unwanted parts from your videos by using the Cut button and you can trim the start and ending of a clip easily by dragging on it in the timeline.
If you want to, you can also add transitions to your merged videos. You can do that either by manually dragging a transition over from the Transition tab on the left side of the screen, or by overlapping two videos in the timeline and then selecting a transition from the drop-down list that pops up.
Step 3: Save your merged videos
When you’re done merging your videos, it’s time to save them to your computer. To do that, just click the Export button in the top right corner of the screen and then click on Export and download. Flixier can take up to three minutes to render and process your video and then it will be saved to your computer.
Of course, if you want to, you can also create a free Flixier account and then use the Export Options to have your video published straight to YouTube or TikTok, or have your video uploaded to your favorite cloud storage platforms.
If you made it this far, it means you now know everything there is to know about merging videos online, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and start working on your projects! The Flixier video joiner is free to try, so you’ve got nothing to lose by giving it a shot.
